Product Type 

The product type refers to whether your print comes rolled, or mounted.

Rolled prints are similar to posters. They ship in a mailing tube, and are rolled along their length. Although you could hypothetically hang a rolled print on its own, rolled prints are especially intended to be framed (see Framing Guidance page for more details). 

Mounted prints are matted with bevel-cut white mat, and mounted on acid-free foamcore. This gives your print a sturdy backing, and white border. Mounted prints can be hung on their own, or framed if you prefer. Since the mat makes the final size of the piece larger than the print itself, please note that the final size of mounted prints are as follows: 

• 8x10 print - final size = 11x14

• 9x12 print - final size = 12x16

• 12x18 print - final size = 18x24

Material Information 

All photos are printed on archival quality, acid-free paper, meaning that they are designed to resist deterioration, and are more environmentally sustainable than other types of paper.  We use Photosatin paper, which is resin coated, and features: 

• vibrant color pallets;

• vivid quality;

• softened highlights and reflections; and

• a texture reminiscent of traditional darkroom printing paper, with a satin-like, glossy finish.
